Round 7 of Singaporeâ™s Urban Touring Series was held the past weekend. After coming close the last couple of rounds, XRAYâ™s Dominic Quek finally claimed his first win of the season in the Open Class.
TC Open Class:
The Reedy-race format was adopted due to the smaller than normal turnout. Nonetheless, then usual fast racers were in attendance. It was a hard fought race between Dominic and Esmail Apandi, with both taking 2-wins and 2-second place finishes each in the best 4 of 5 finals format. In the end, Dominic secured the win on tie-break by virtue of his faster winning times. Hasron Robana (XRAY) took the win in the last final to secure 3rd overall.
